Meet Mario and Eron, the dynamic new owners of The Stirling House Bed & Breakfast. United by their love for history, nature, and a minimalist style, Mario and Eron are excited to greet visitors at The Stirling House and actively contribute to the vibrant Kelowna community.
Our Story
Mario's journey is steeped in carpentry, a love for nature, and a lifelong dream of entrepreneurship. Raised in Sherbrooke, Quebec, he developed a deep connection with the outdoors, sparking a desire for a simpler life. Mario's move to British Columbia in 2005 led him to this exciting chapter, where he's committed to preserving the historic home and providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Eron, originally from British Columbia's lower mainland, brings her entrepreneurial expertise and a passion for leaving city life behind. The discovery of The Stirling House B&B was serendipitous, and her decision to join Mario in this venture is exhilarating. Beyond The Stirling House, Eron manages her successful wedding planning business, Encore Events, with plans to expand in Kelowna in the near future.

Meet Our Four-Legged Hosts
No stay at Stirling House is complete without a friendly greeting from our resident companions, Aslin and Luna. These two beloved pups bring joy, laughter, and a touch of home to every guest experience—whether it’s a wagging tail at the door, a cozy presence in the lounge, or a playful moment in the garden. Their gentle spirits and big hearts remind us daily of the warmth and connection that make Stirling House so special.
Meet Aslin
Say hello to Aslin, our affectionate 5-year-old Anatolian Shepherd and resident gentle giant. Weighing in at 140 pounds, he may be on the smaller side for his breed, but he has a huge heart and a special knack for connecting with our guests.
Sociable and curious, Aslin welcomes everyone in his own charming way—whether that means giving you space to settle in or waiting patiently on the couch for a friendly hello. His days are filled with beach strolls, lazy lounging on the dog patio, and playful antics with his best friend, Luna (our other four-legged host).
You’ll often find evidence of his fun-loving spirit—a half-chewed stuffie here or there—and after all that excitement, Aslin is a master of afternoon naps. And when he’s especially happy, you might even catch him doing his signature happy dance!
Meet Luna
Introducing Luna, our spirited 2-year-old American Bully Pocket and the undeniable spark of our four-legged duo. Weighing in at 52 pounds, she’s small but mighty—an energetic little bullet full of muscle, heart, and personality.
Luna joined our family in February 2024, at just 12 weeks old, and quickly made herself right at home. Her favorite pastime is playing in the yard with her best friend, Aslin—zooming circles around him before launching herself like a rocket into his patient embrace.
Beneath all that energy, Luna has a big, tender heart. She simply loves to be seen, loved, and part of the fun. Whether she’s cuddled up after playtime or showing off her playful grin, Luna’s joyful spirit brings warmth and laughter to every corner of Stirling House.
A Note for Our Guests
While Aslin and Luna love meeting new friends, we also understand that not everyone is comfortable around dogs. Rest assured, our pups stay within the owners’ private quarters unless invited out for greetings—so you can relax and enjoy your stay exactly as you prefer.
